You can choose an off grid retreat experience by staying in one of our pods in the woods. Each space can sleep two and features a lovely log burner with oven so you can stay warm and cook some dinner!

The idea behind our pods is to unplug and be surrounded by nature. When you stay here you won't have electricity and will have a chance to connect with the space around you.

You may even have a close encounter with some deer, a hare or woodpecker.

You will also have access to our Creative Barn where you can hang out, utilise the kitchenette and maybe even flex your creative muscles.

We love this space, with all its natural light and windows that let the outside in - truly a space to connect with your surroundings.

We surrounded by 9 acres of 200 year old Scottish woodland that is home to many ecosystems and protected species.

Our wildlife pond is a perfect spot for a wild swim or a boat ride!

There are many woodland trails to explore, sawmill ruins and the orchard to walk by, burnside picnic spots and view toward the Iron Age forts, the Caterthuns.

Our studio and performance space is a perfect space for workshops and gigs.

It also the home of our recording studio where we create music, podcasts and videos.

As well as all the practical uses, this is a great space to hang out and have a blether.

Stay in the comforts of our cottage rooms - the original building dating back around 200 years. If you prefer to be a little more plugged in, one of the cottage rooms is for you.

You will also be treated to a window view of the bird feeding area where you will probably see a red squirrel or two, finches of many kinds and possibly a woodpecker!

While visiting Our Sanctuary you will have gorgeous beaches and countryside at your fingertips. We actively encourage and organise trips to our favourite spots... from Lunan Bay to the glens. Where you like to walk or relax, Angus and Aberdeenshire have so much to offer.

Once you are done adventuring, Our Sanctuary will be waiting to welcome you home.
